One thing Goldie and I (Whiskey) shared when we met was our long-term obsession with American Express, the Platinum benefits and DEPARTURES guide they release.
The thing that we found quickly was that we used the card and benefits in very different ways. I chose the card to take advantage of all the rebates for UBER, recurring subscriptions and so on. Goldie leveraged her points for international travel with Air France and select hotels.
The one thing we agreed on, was this was the card we both use as often as possible to take full advantage of all the rewards possible.
