Mon Chou chou
Mouthwatering French food with a side of hip San Antonio flavor, this Art Deco designed restaurant in the middle of the historic Pearl district, is truly a diamond in the rough. This French brasserie is the brainchild of three Frenchmen living in San Antonio who dreamed of bringing the comfort of their respective grandmother’s food to Texas.  The menu is chalk-full of French classics like steak frites, coq au vin, escargot de Bourgogne,  joy-inducing profiteroles and a classic creme brulee!  A better meal cannot be had at the Pearl, and the ambiance is pitch-perfect for a sexy date night. Although this recommendation is technically a “mall,” we would be remiss not to suggest this open-aired offering. It is a spectacular place for an afternoon spent shopping and eating well.  The registry of stores at this site is truly unbeatable in San Antonio, with well-known shops such as Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Tiffany’s, Williams Sonona, Lush & so much more. Best Place to Watch The Sunset

One of the most dynamic attractions in Downtown San Antonio, the Tower of the Americas provides a unique outlook on the city. Not too far from Hemisfair Park, the Tower of the Americas is a uniquely shaped building that boasts excellent views with an observation deck and restaurant. Oh, did we mention it spins? El Mercado is the perfect place to get lost. El Mercado has been a local favorite for San Antonians for almost a century. With its traditional Mexican wares and traditional foods, this marketplace maintains its cultural flavor well.
