Best Place to Watch The Sunset

Today, its natural formations and ancient ruins make for one of the most romantic sunset views of all time. Unlike Oia and Fira, two of Santorini’s most well-known cities, Skaros is overlooked by many tourists. In order to get to this gorgeous site there is a short hike you have to make, but what awaits those who make the trip, is well worth the effort. This spot is perfect for adventurous couples or those who are looking for spots that are off the beaten path. However, if hiking is not for you, there are sunset cruises available. With the whitewashed buildings of Santorini behind you and the other islands of the archipelago on the horizon to perfectly frame the setting sun, the cruise is the perfect place for a 360 degree, sunset view. For the more daring couple, if you stroll a ways down the shoreline, there is a section of beach hidden away where clothes are completely optional. But be careful!
